This fantastically well balanced and complex wine would be a great accompaniment withbeef fillet with Morel mushrooms.

TASTING NOTE:

This is a vermeil wine, with a ruby shade that sometimes leans towards garnet and dark purple. Very ripe fruit with a spicy background creates an assorted bouquet of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and blackcurrant. The complexity of refined aromas evolves with age to cherry spirits, leather, and fur. A wine to be aged, of course, balancing richness and tannins. It must develop its structure and boldness in the bottle.
