This is not your typical Stellenbosch Syrah: elegance and restraint are evident in this classically proportioned wine. Briar fruit dominates the nose and palate, underpinned by fine tannins and fresh, saline acidity. The mid-palate is tightly packed and, though delicious now, with benefit from a little longer in bottle. Drink now to 2021.
