This fantastically well balanced and complex wine would be a great accompaniment with oast grouse, pheasant, partridge as well as high quality farmed meats such as guineafowl and goose.

TASTING NOTE:

Aroma of brighter black cherry, blackberries and prune with white pepper and clove undertones. Medium body and balanced acidity. Slightly tight at start and need to breath a bit before the fruity black fruits and cassis notes explode on the palate. Secondary notes include white pepper, star anise, cloves and mixed dried herbs. Nice and lingering finishing.
