FOOD MATCHING NOTE:

Has the intense aromatics to go brilliantly with Asian food but also extremely good with powerful cheeses. The Alsatians drink it with their brine-washed Munster, but it is equally at home with rich blue cheeses from Stilton to Roquefort.

TASTING NOTE:

Gewurtztraminer can often bludgeon the palate with perfumed Turkish Delight aromatics. The Trapet version seduces more by stealth - certainly with rosewater - yet blended with grape notes, lychees and delicate spice, mirrored on the palate, which refreshed by lime, all set within a rather luscious, silken texture through to a rich, honeyed finish.
