This is one of the archetypal summer aperitifs. Spicy Vietnamese or Thai food pair well with the exotic character of the wine. It's also good with asparagus and almost any cheese. 

TASTING NOTE: 

The fruit tends towards apricots and peaches in this supple, textured white. Hints of sweet spices from the oak and butter add complexity to the incisive, mineral-drenched finish. This could use another few years in bottle.
